Task 1
I would like for you to write a report on the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy. The information you include is completely up to you, but I do expect a brief history on when/why it was set up, what is its role in wizarding society and whether you think that it is an effective piece of legislation.
Task 2
For your second task I would like for you to come up with a hypothetical crime that has occurred on myHogwarts. You must inform me of the following details.
- Who the crime involves.
- What the crime is.
- Why it is a crime? (What laws does it break?)
- What ministry departments had to get involved?
- What evidence would be provided if the case went to trial?
- What punishment do you suggest?
Task 3
Harry Potter has been brought before the Wizengamot for the murder of another human being (Tom Riddle). The prosecution is arguing that celebrity status should not exempt Mr Potter from the harsh punishments that ordinarily accompany this crime. Your final task is to either write a letter to the prosecution supporting their case OR write a letter to the defence lawyer in support of his actions.
